Rice
1 cup brown rice
1 cup white rice
4 cups of water (or shiitake mushroom liquid and water, or water level 1 knuckle above rice level)
Instructions: Wash the rice and soak it in water for at least half hour. Cook the rice in a rice cooker or stovetop or microwave, your choice
Broccoli
1 lb of broccoli, wash and tear into small florets
1 teaspoon of salt
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 teaspoon of sesame oil
1 teaspoon of toasted white sesame seeds
Instructions: Bring a pot of water to a boil, add salt, add the broccoli, cook until the water boils again, drain the broccoli, add the remaining ingredients and give it a toss
Beef
1 lb ground beef
3 cloves of garlic, minced
2 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon cooking wine
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon sesame oil
Instructions: Heat up a skillet, add all the ingredients, saute until meat is thoroughly cooked
Other toppings
Eggs, panfried, sunny-side up

Sauce

Mix well

Tips
Bibimbap is essentially a leftover dish, when you mix rice with leftover banchan or side dishes. Spinach, bean sprouts, zucchini, cucumber are some of the other commonly used toppings, feel free to give them a try
