Pictorial Instructions
1 Preheat oven to 375 F (190 C). Line a sheet pan with parchment paper/foil/silicone mat, then lay the saltines.

2 In a medium sauce pan, melt butter and brown sugar on medium heat, once the mixture starts to bubble, cook for another 4-5 minutes.

3 Pour the mixture on to the saltines, bake it in the oven for 8 minutes.

4 Sprinkle chocolate chips on the top, put it back to the warm oven and wait for about 2 minutes or until the chocolate chips melt. Use an offset spatula or a spoon to spread out the chocolate.

5 Add chopped nuts on top of the chocolate, then let it chill in the fridge for 1 hour. Once the chocolate is set, break it up into pieces with your hands.

Tips
1 I am using wheat saltines in this recipe (because they were on sale), but you can choose regular saltines as well.
2 I used a mixture of dark (75%) and white chocolate, you can choose either or both!
3 I used dry roasted sliced almonds and pecans, but feel free to used other nuts.
